Our History

We are the most experienced and active brokerage house in the English-speaking Caribbean, founded in 1968 by Edward Esau Gayle, a visionary in wealth generation and the capital markets. His company, Edward Gayle & Company, became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the NCB Financial Group in 2002. After a merger with NCB Investments Limited, was renamed NCB Capital Markets Limited.

Our regional footprint has since expanded to include NCB Capital Markets (Cayman) Limited (2008), NCB Merchant Bank (Trinidad and Tobago) Limited (2013), NCB Capital Markets (Barbados) Limited (2015) and most recently NCB Capital Markets (Guyana) Inc (2022).
